Re·ma·tri·a·tion - The act or process of returning the Sacred to the Mother

Leona Prince

Rematriation.com is a Haudenosaunee-led, digital storytelling platform connecting Haudenosaunee and Indigenous women across Turtle Island and around the world. We rematriate through Indigenous women-led, in person gatherings; online, Indigenous women-only spaces; and initiatives designed to educate the public and build allies.

At Hundiyhin, we are looking for ways to connect, educate and empower Indigenous women and girls. We will continue to look for inspiring organizations and individuals who are aspiring to protect the sacred feminine and Matriarchy.

Hundiyin

This term is from the Nedut'en dialect and is a word used only for the women in our community. It loosely translates into English as sharp like a knife, but refers to the strength, mental clarity and ability for our women to speak for our community.
